When a tie is causing issues, and therapy alone does not correct the issues, Dr. Bachelder will remove the tie with a special (CO2) laser. The patient then also must undergo additional therapy to strengthen the tongue, and heal properly. Therapy is performed through collaboration and referrals to our incredible professional team: chiropractor, SLP (speech language pathologist), massage therapist, and lactation consultant.
